ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Coordinates is an ongoing body of work that begins with representation and gradually moves toward abstraction.
Each piece originates from a specific place tied to personal experience, mapping the coordinates of Miami, New York, and London.
As I become an empty nester and raise my children into adulthood, this series becomes a way of processing the geographical distance between us. This series allows me to inhabit that space, to transform separation into a new internal coordinate where letting go is part of the process.
